About Coat lengthShort Meet Rainey COURTESY POST ~ RAINEY IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION CONTACT: Vallie - 208 921-XXXX Rainey is a small 2 year old pitty girl (about 30lbs). She was in the shelter system in Cincinnati Ohio and was fostered by a couple for 4 months. An adopter was found in Idaho so she was driven from Cincinnati to Idaho by her foster parents. (She did absolutely fantastic on this 24hr+ road trip). She was adopted into a family with a baby, cat, and dog. She did amazing with the baby and has been around many kids. Rainey is incredibly gentle and loving. She let the baby crawl all over her and she loved every second of it. She was okay with the small dog after a slow introduction and has done fine in previous foster homes with large dogs in the past. Unfortunately she did not do well with the cat. She continues to chase him every time she sees him and now the cat is too scared to come home so unfortunately the family has decided they can no longer keep Rainey. But Rainey is an incredible dog and deserves a forever home (like they all do) or a foster to giver her more chances to get there!!! Here are some key things about Rainey:The good:*Completely house trained/crate trained*Her favorite activity is cuddling, she is very very calm at home *Doesn’t show any food aggression*Is fantastic with babies & kids*Is a very fast learner- in 4 months she learned to sit, lay down, stay, come, relax, wait, and heel.*She is very fast to give you her trust and her whole heart.*Loves car rides/joining adventures.What she’s working on:*Leash reactivity towards other dogs/cats*With slow introductions she can do well with certain dogs Her needs:Cat free home Please contact Vallie at 208 921-XXXX for more information.
