Good in a home withOther dogs.Adoption fee$700.00 Meet Tina Tina is a very, very shy Dachshund, Pug, Chihuahua mix (just guessing). There is no doubt she has suffered some abuse. The first day she wanted nothing to do with me, but she has warmed up to me. She will come up and lay her head on my leg and if I’m quiet and gentle, she will let me pet her. I have been letting her drag a small leash around with her and she now let me pick up the leash and gently walk her around a little bit and pick her up. Today was the first time she let me touch her paws. She is gonna need someone with a lot of patience, but they’re going to get a great, loving, gentle, loyal, sweet and very active little dog. She will need a quiet home where she can get used to life slowly. She loves honey nut Cheerios. She is a sock and shoe thief. She loves all kinds of toys. She has the adorable cute floppy ears, along with the long body and the tail of the dachshund, the head of a Chihuahua and the crunched face and wrinkles of a pug. Someone dropped her off at the Front Street shelter parking lot when they were closed. She sat there in the shelter for over a month in her terribly shy state. Tina weighs 16 pounds, housebroken, crate trained, microchipped, good with other dogs, cats to be determined, two years old, vaccinated, she has not been heartworm tested, will be spayed soon and her adoption fee will be $700.
