Looking for a big guy that bounces around and is always happy? I’m Duke, your big, happy boy! I came to HHS expecting to just go up for adoption. But, news to me, staff told me the reason my legs hurt are because I need a hip surgery. I’ve made quite a few trips to vet offices and I’m such a good dog in the car. I just love car rides. My big surgery day is July 23rd and there will be a healing and recovery process including physical therapy. But, I could meet my new adopters at any time and if fostering until adoption is something you’d like, the staff at HHS is open to considering it. I’m housetrained and appear to like playing with all dogs but I forget my size, so smaller dogs or young children could get accidentally injured. I love toys and walks and snuggles and life!
