My name is Evie. I came up to Wisconsin a couple months ago, and just in time to have my babies. I am now looking for a home to call my own. I am about 1-1/2 years old, but still likes to play like a puppy sometimes. I settle down for snuggles and naps though. My foster takes me up north where I am let off leash, and I recall every time she says my name. I love playing fetch, as I will even bring the ball back to you! I can be leery of other dogs, but slow introductions with dogs my size goes well. I am pretty good on a leash, but my foster likes to use the figure eight slip lead method the best. I'm not a big barker. I would do best in a home with children over 10, and maybe another dog my size to play with, otherwise I'd be ok being your one and only four-legged friend.Adoption processAll dogs over the age of 6 months old are adopted on a 2 week trial to make sure that the dog is a great fit in your home. if at anytime the applicant doesn't feel the fit is right- you must reach out to the rescue to discuss.
