Freddie is a senior (born approx 2.1.17) neutered male Akita. He is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, on flea/heartworm prevention, house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. This sweet guy came to us from a shelter in North Carolina after he was found running stray. It's clear from the fly damage on his ears, being underweight, having a horrible urinary tract infection, and being heartworm positive, that Freddie hasn't had the best life up until now. With the help of antibiotics, medication for his low thyroid, and plenty of TLC, he's really starting to feel better, is putting on weight, and has even tried to play with his foster. He LOVES going for walks! He is non-reactive to other dogs, not seeming to even care of they're around.If you have any questions or would like to adopt Freddie, please reach out to the adoption group directly.
