Due to no fault of her own, sweet miss Freya (formerly known as “Spot”) finds herself back with us + in-need of a forever family! This beautiful little lady is now between 6-7 months old, weighs 37lbs, and is said to be a collie/pittie mix of sorts. Freya and her siblings came to us from Oklahoma back in January, where they were found — cold and alone — in a movie theatre parking lot. A good samaritan came to their aid, scooped them up, and brought them to safety. After no luck in finding an owner, the siblings made their way north…becoming a part of our very beloved New Leash family! When fully grown, we’d estimate that Freya could reach around the 60lbs-ish mark. She is an incredibly sweet, SWEET girl! She adores getting love + attention and is excited to meet everyone (adults and kiddos, alike!). However, she definitely gravitates the most toward children! Freya ADORES kids, and landing a forever family with kiddos would make her wildest dreams come true! She also loves other dogs (of all ages + sizes) and loves to play. Although it’s not a requirement, we know she’d love another pup-playmate in her forever home as well! Freya is potty-trained and crate-trained (WIN! ), knows her basic commands, and is a smart little nugget who catches on quickly to whatever is being asked of her. Another plus: she is super treat motivated! Freya is frequently referred to as a “wiggle-butt,” because she wags her tail with the entire back half of her body. She is the happiest pupper! She thoroughly enjoys snuggling on the couch with her people, and isn’t picky about her chew toys (she simply loves them all!).
