This cute young male Terrier mix (who has been given the name "Friend") was brought to HSOV on July 5, 2024 by a Good Samaritan who found him on County House Lane (off State Route 7 in Marietta Ohio) and was around the apartment complex across from the Tractor Supply Store. Friend was wearing a collar but, unfortunately, there was neither an id tag nor a dog license tag on his collar .. And he was not microchipped. Friend has a snow white short smooth coat, a long tail, and an adorable face with amber-colored eyes, a liver-colored nose, and short semi-erect ears. These photos were taken on the afternoon of July 7, 2024 when HSOV Kennel Tech Emily Beaver accompanied Friend for outdoor photos. This beautiful boy has a friendly, rather demure, personality and is understandably a bit bewildered to find himself in a place with so many other dogs around. Friend weighs 31 lbs and is a fairly small dog when you see him in person. In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Friend will be held for the mandatory three-day stray hold so that his family will have an opportunity to reclaim him with proof of ownership.If you have any questions or would like to adopt Friend, please reach out to the adoption group directly.
