Gandalf Husky Adult Male

Gandalf has been with us for 33 days. He is a three-year-old husky mix. He is a very calm dog. He likes to be the center of attention. He has been around other dogs and seems to do okay. He does NOT like to be restrained. He knows some tricks, sit', shake', down', and roll over'. This means veterinarians should be aware of this and a muzzle should be used. We do not want to place him with kids due to this behavior. He loves to be pet, and touch is so important for him to learn his boundaries. We are working hard here to socialize him. He came to us as a stray from a reservation, so we think he may have had some bad experiences. Gandalf has come a long way from his first day here and we believe he will only continue to grow into his skin with your help.
