German Shepherd Dog Dog for Adoption in Batavia, New York, 14020 USNickname: Shirley Posted Breed: German Shepherd Dog (short coat). Shirley is an adult female German Shepherd. She will be spayed Monday, 10/21 so she will not be available to meet until Tuesday. Here is the adoption process: To adopt an animal you must complete an application and be approved. There is a $60 fee for any animal which needs to be cash or a check - NO CREDIT CARDS. If the animal is not spayed or neutered, there is a $35 deposit which will be returned upon proof of surgery. All dogs must be licensed before leaving the Shelter. Please note that public offices that issue dog licenses are not open on Saturdays and Sundays. All cats must leave in a carrier.
