Visit our website for more information, including Frequently Asked Questions. My name is Charlie, or Charlie Tank as my foster family calls me. Let me tell you a little bit more about me. I am an 11 week old GSD/Pyrenees mix born on July 29 th , who’s personality is the best of both worlds! I live with 2 small gray things my humans call cats. For some reason they like them, even though they make a funny noise when I come too close and have hit me. Ouch! I am learning my lesson and realize they need respect. My 1 st foster mom had a male pack and they taught me a few things before coming to my current family. I’m told it’s a good thing to know how to be around male and female dogs. I now have 2 female GSD foster sisters and I absolutely love them . I’m learning a lot. They have helped me learn we sit at the door and wait before going outside, or how to relax and just be when my humans are busy and can’t play. Every now and then I get on their nerves when I want to play too rough , so they correct me and remind me to calm down. Hide and seek with Willow is one of my favorite games, but the way I am growing I will be too big for some of my favorite hiding spots. Bummer. My foster Mom says I am a lot of fun and such a happy boy! I love people and man is cuddling with humans one of the best feelings. Learning is one of my favorite activities when I am not snuggling with you. I am working on place and can do it fairly well given I’m young. I also can-do sit, stay, and come. Just keep working with me to reinforce. They keep telling me I am smart and easy to teach. Even better if you feed me treats or my meals while doing it. I love food! I sleep in my crate and usually only wake up about once and go back to bed. House training is going well, I just require consistency, but I’m a baby and will get there. I’m told my best traits are that I am a gem in the car and never have accidents or get sick while traveling. I am dog, and kid friendly. I live with 2 teenagers but have been around young kids too and do well. I have been to the Vet and he said I was the best behaved boy! Playing with my humans, and foster siblings is fun, but if you need me to just chew on a toy by myself that’s fine too. Having siblings is great, but if you just want a best friend who will follow you, protect you and love you to the moon and back by myself I am definitely your dog too. I would be happy either way. Charlie is being fostered in Concord and would love a family to call his own. He is a very well-rounded puppy and being exposed to as much of daily life as possible. This is a great dog just waiting to be molded into a lifelong companion! Our adoption process consists of a telephone interview, a call to your veterinarian and a home visit.
