Austin is a 5.5 months old, 35 lbs German Shepherd mix boy who is up-to-date on his vaccines and will be neutered by the time he’s adopted. This extroverted puppy loves hanging out with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. He’s currently being fostered in a house with 5 male and female dogs of different ages. His crate-skills are great; He goes inside his crate by himself when offered a treat. He is potty-trained as well but does well with a set-schedule to use the restroom like every other dog. Because he’s food-motivated, he needs a slow-feeding bowl. As the a social-butterfly that he is, he’ll ask for attention and cuddles by placing his paw on your lap. He loves being picked up and given kisses like the big baby he is. For such a young pup, he is very well behaved and has potential of being trained quickly because of his love for treats. His favorite toys are those that squeak and has no problem sharing these with other dogs. He needs more leash-training and exposure to commands. Our dogs live in private foster homes or boarding kennels down south until adopted, and foster care homes through out MV, Cape Cod and other parts of MA.
