They were honest in that they didn't do much with her and socializing her outside of the family. Pixie is a typical shepherd that is looking for: A leader to help her become the best she can be Someone who won't make her be in charge, she really doesn't like it nor does she know what to do with it. A German Shepherd savvy owner who wants to train her, socialize her, so awkward when meeting new people She is house trained, well mannered for her family and really wants to be a social butterfly, but she needs focus and simple training to be able to do that. She is good with other dogs. Cats are unknown. Small kids might be a bit too chaotic for her. A note from her surrendering owner We adopted Pixie in October of 2022 and we have loved having her in our home. She is sweet and loving and very loyal to her people. She is an excellent guard dog and lets us know when anyone is close by. She loves to play fetch and she loves to run around in the yard. She doesn’t like sudden movements or loud noises. She is afraid of brooms, mops or anything that resembles a long stick. Pixie received one-on-one training through Happy Tailz last summer and she proved to be a very good student. She understands a lot of words and is extremely smart. We are sad that our situation has changed and has made it difficult for us to take care of Pixie. We hope Pixie can find her forever home where she can get all the time and love she deserves. If you love German Shepherds and really want to make a difference in one's life, she is your girl!
