This sweet old boy (10-12 yrs) is Get-a-long. He is a yorkie or poodle mix....he weighs about 10 lbs. He will need a very special adopter who is willing to give him the time he needs to feel safe & learn his new environment. He was found wandering the streets of Texas in need of care. He had a dental & a couple teeth were pulled. He slowly started to make his journey to the sweet boy he is. Since being in WI he has made progress. He does have limited vision but navigates around the house & back yard just fine. He will trots along exploring the back yard & he loves to be outside. Get-a-Long seems to be housetrained & will give a bark when he has to go & quickly does his business outside. He sleeps all night (10 hrs) quietly in his crate & it is always dry. He is fine with other dogs & cats. Truthfully this little old man needs someone with patience & not expecting a cuddle bug right away. Every day he opens up a bit more as he realizes he is safe & secure. His perfect new home would be an adult home with someone at home most of the time.
