She had a broken jaw and was dangerously thin when she ended up there, but we got her all fixed up! Ginger is a bundle of sweetness and playful energy and has learned so much since she was rescued. She tries very hard to please her people and has a lot of kisses and snuggles, too. She hates getting up early and would like to sleep in every day if possible. This girl loves to chase a ball and will chase it until she is absolutely This little beauty needs a home! Meet Ginger, a gorgeous, 11-months-old pit mix who was saved from death row at only 7 months old. She is potty trained, spayed, and up to date on her vaccines and preventatives, too. Ginger would be good with kids and other dogs. She has not been cat tested, though. This is one precious pup. We attempt to match the animal's characteristics with the family and their lifestyle. We require an application form, which becomes part of the adoption contract, a personal or phone interview, veterinarian reference if applicable, home visit, and an additional agreement about how the animal will be treated. Cats must be indoors only, not declawed. Dogs must be fenced or leashed when outdoors and treated as part of the family--indoors as much as possible, and always at night. Adopter agrees to provide regular veterinary care, and to return the animal to us if they ever give it up. We reserve the right to check on the animal's welfare from time to time, with appropriate notice.Shelter locationAs a volunteer group, we do not have a facility. Our animals reside in foster homes. We show them at local events and by appointment.
