This gorgeously adorable boy is Goose, and he is ready to land himself a forever family of his very own! Goose (male) is a 1.5 year old Aussie (possibly border collie ) mix who was recently freed from living life locked in a shed with 11 other dogs. One of our amazing fosters volunteered to take him in, and Goose never looked back! He weighs right around 45-50lbs, and has the sweetest smile + most handsome face. Goose is crate-trained (& comfortable in his kennel) and potty-trained. He is learning more every day when it comes to leash walking, but will need lots of continued practice to perfect his on-leash skills! He is a smart boy who catches on quickly, and is a good listener. He listens when told no, off, leave it, and to come/come on. He has really proven to be a fairly laid-back boy (especially for his breed!), and we think he’ll adapt well to life in a new home. Goose does well with other dogs of all ages, and although we can’t be certain…we’d venture to guess he’d do fine with cats [being that he was around them in his previous placement]. Although once he gets into the home environment it’s possible that could change…so kitty-friendly we just can’t quite guarantee! Goose LOVES to play in the water, so would *really* love a family to take him on plenty of swimming adventures! He is fine with respectful children.
