Goose (A131040) is a 1-year-and-3-month old Lab x Chow Chow mix who weighed 51.4 pounds on intake!07/16/24 This fabulous boy is Goose! Goose was previously at the shelter as a puppy and went by the name Quil! He is a sweet, loving boy looking for an owner who will have the time and energy to devote to his care and training. Goose would highly benefit from attending a basic obedience class with a certified trainer to continue working on his manners. He also needs some help and consistency with potty training. Goose was said to be sweet towards babies and children but can be a little shy when initially meeting new people. He was described as being very playful with other dogs but has no history with cats, pocket pets, or livestock. Slow, safe, and controlled introductions are important! Goose was known to be a chewer, especially when bored. Keeping him both mentally and physically stimulated is key! If you have the time and energy to devote to this boy and would like to meet him, please let us know! 06/14/23 These adorable little troublemakers are from a litter of puppies returning from foster! They were said to be lab x chow mixes and are just as cute as can be! A friendly reminder that puppies are a lot of work and are a time commitment. They are going to need continued help with potty training, kennel training, basic commands, and positive socialization! They have gotten a good jump start at this in their foster home! We encourage you to bring your new pup to a puppy obedience class for an additional jump on training and socialization! These little ones are teething so making sure also provide them with appropriate chew toys is important!
