He has a sweet temperament and is active and playful. He came in from La Joya with his mom and brother Asher. All skin and bones. In 3 weeks they went from 60#'s to 90#'s. He does great with other dogs and is very affectionate. He has the dog door down and has not had any accidents with the use of the dog door. Axel did test positive for anaplasmosis which is a bacteria infection caused by a tick bite and he has begun a 30-day course of doxycycline. Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for his entire life (up to 15+ years or more.) You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. His adoption fee is $300. This includes his neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® 4Dx Plus Test, Tri-Heart® Plus chewable tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease. All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar.
