Great Dane Dog for Adoption in Oakhurst, New Jersey, 28352 USNickname: Choco - Big Handsome Boy! Dog Breed: Great Dane (short coat). Choco is a handsome boy who is looking for a new home. Choco is with a partner shelter in NC. He can come to NJ if we find a foster to save his life! Choco is described as a big goof! He is friendly and sweet and a little "derpy." Choco is learning to walk on a leash and sometimes will stand up which is only alarming due to his size and strength. He needs a little work on his leash skills. Choco adores people and always wants to be near you. He likes to be touching when he is out with the shelter staff. Choco has tested well with other dogs too. Choco is fixed, microchipped and up to date on rabies, DHPP and Bordetella vaccines. He tested positive for heartworm so sweet Choco needs a foster to save his life! Heartworm treatment includes 30 days of antibiotics plus two visits to see Dr. Behan at Barnegat Animal Clinic then 30 days of "light duty," no running, jumping or vigorous play.
