Who couldn't love this handsome guy's sleek black coat? This is Grizzle, our 1 yr old GSD/Lab x hitting right at 70#. Grizzle came into the shelter with his dad Bear so yes we do for sure know that he is part GSD as his dad is full GSD (as far as we know). He is a big ole sweetheart and just wants to give you smoochies and run around with you. He does have a lot of energy but walks decently on leash, only pulling once he gets excited. He does well with his dad but we haven't gotten to see him around other dogs. With his dad he is quite submissive but that may be different than other dogs. He still has to be kid/cat tested. Adoption fee is $175 plus tax. Find us on Facebook to be updated on events and shelter news! All animals up for adoption at the Hawk Creek Animal Shelter are spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested negative (if age appropriate), up to date on vaccinations (a booster may be needed), given flea and tick preventative, given heartworm preventative, dewormed, and treated for anything necessary: such as dental cleanings, ear infections, etc. Please visit our website for prices and more information about our hours. No pre-applications are accepted, please come to the shelter with your family with no appointment needed. If you have another dog, we'd like an appointment to do a meet and greet with your other dog.
