Hello from Texas, I am an adorable short-stack, Dachshund/Pittie mix about 4 months old, and I weigh 18 lbs. I was one of 4 puppies from an oops-a-daisy litter and our owner wasn't taking care of us, so 4 Little Paws decided to help find us all wonderful forever homes. I am a sweet boy with an easygoing attitude and a waggly tail, making friends everywhere I go with people young and old, other dogs and I don't even mind kitty cats. I’m learning all about puppy toys and practicing fetch with my foster mom and the squeaky and rope toys are my favorites so far. I’m very affectionate, and love snuggling, pets, tummy rubs, sharing kisses, and following you everywhere. My foster mom says I’m a super smart and super sweet puppy and would make anyone proud to call me their forever dog! My future looks bright, and I am so looking forward to joining a wonderful family anywhere on the East Coast! Inquire about me today and bring me home! * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.Adoption processPlease DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.Shelter locationall of our dogs come to Westport CT from TX and get picked up by adopters from here.
