We are working with another rescue in an effort to find a foster and ultimately forever home for Hank. Hank is a sweet boy (just a pup) that was originally rescued from a shelter in Northern California. He was a shelter favorite and one of the volunteers would take him home at night and he did fine with the other dogs in the house. Due to his breed, however, homes with other dogs will only be considered if they are opposite sex (female). The rescue that pulled Hank had a home lined up for him that fell through due a family emergency and no fault of Hank’s. He is now being boarded in San Diego and needs an experienced foster or ultimately an adopter. Hank has never shown aggression but is a guardian breed and as he matures or gets settled into his new home, his guarding instincts may become more prevalent. This is something to be expected with the breed and for an adopter to be aware of and capable of safely managing.If you have any questions or would like to adopt Hank, please reach out to the adoption group directly.
