Are you my person? Hershey is still searching. He was obviously well loved once upon a time. He and three other dogs were pushed out of a car in a parking lot, but were thankfully picked up almost immediately. Hershey came to us with pneumonia and has recovered after a course of medications. Our vet says he is healthy and ready to go. Hershey is an older boy, but doesn't act it. Hershey just loves to go for walks and to snuggle in your lap or next to you in bed. He is fully housetrained, gets along with other dogs (although he lets them know to give him space when needed). He is just a darling who would love to have a permanent human to protect and serve. Do you want a dog to look at you with unconditional love in his eyes? Hershey is your guy. Like all Lucky Dog Rescue dogs, Hershey is fully vetted, up-to-date on shots, neutered, and chipped. His adoption fee is $275.Adoption processOur current adoption fee for adults ( 8 months old) is $250-$400 and for puppies ( 8 months old) the fee is $350-$400. The Adoption fee for senior dogs (7+ years) is $200-$250. These fees cover the vaccines, microchipping, neuter/spay surgery, county license, and vet check for the dog. Before an adoption can take place we do require that all potential adopters fill out an application. Once the application has been approved a home visit may be conducted.
