Meet HowieHowie is approx. a 4 month old, very big puppy who came into rescue under unfavorable circumstances. He is however a very resilient pup and is ready to find his forever home. We believe him to be Cattle dog and German shepherd mix.Before applying for him please know this dog is very active and needs to go to a home that is busy.Here is what his foster mom has to say about Howie:Howie is a fun lil guy! He is full of life, and curious about everything. He shows he is a working dog by herding all the big dogs (3 Great Danes and a cane Corso) in his foster home. He has already learned to ring the bells at his foster home (but only because he loves going outside to play!). He is smart and needs to work, or he will herd you.Howie is a sweetheart, and although he’s been hurt by humans, has quickly learned to love them. If you have a busy dog job and no dog to fill it, I believe Howie will make you proud!This sweet boy is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. House trained. Good with other dogs and children. Located in Pendleton Oregon, transport is available within the Pacific northwest to approved foster/adopter.
