Jack Dachshund Adult Male
Hello, my name is Jack! I am a 10 year old dachshund miniature pinscher mix. I am a special boy because I am diabetic and vision impaired, but that doesnt stop me from living my best life. I am happiest when Im out on a walk or basking outside in the sun. I am excellent on a leash and I can keep up just fine with my much younger brother. I am a pretty mellow boy, and when Im not exploring outside or on a walk, I like to snooze in my crate or play with my squeaky toys. I am a little slow to warm up to people, but once I adjust I am affectionate and love to give kisses. I would really love a home with no children, no other dogs, and a fenced in yard so I can explore and relax outside, and generally just enjoy my golden years in the sun. I am completely house trained and crate trained and Ive never had an accident in the house. My foster mom says that Im the easiest foster dog shes ever had because Im pretty independent and low maintenance (yes, even though Im diabetic!).If you would like to learn more about me please contact my foster mom, Ashley at XXXX@gmail.com http://littlepawsdachshundrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form_humanverify?formid=2724Adoption Fee: $150.00 + $45.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law). Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $135 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.Transportation HelpIf you see a furbaby that is a match for your family, dont let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
