Say hello to Jasper! This big boy weighs around 95 lbs and is approximately 3 years old. Jasper appears to be a Great Pyrenees / Leonberger and is quite a handsome dog! He met the other dogs in his house with ease but can be a bit persnickity meeting new dogs on leash. Jasper is house trained, knows how to walk on leash and is very content in his crate. His foster mom just says "let's go in the crate" and he goes right in. He has warmed up to the husband in his foster home but was very reticent around men at first. Now that he is settled, he is doing better with new male humans but prefers a very slow introduction. Meaning he doesn't like men crowding him or insisting on a lof of close contact and affection initially. He likes to meet you when he is ready. He adores the foster mom and listens well to her. "Jasper is such a great dog once he trust you. Women are easy but men are tougher, but if not pushy on meeting he comes around. He has come along way on trusting people." Jasper loves his kitties… who knew… he barked at them in the crate but out he loves them. He is looking for a awesome home… needs a 6ft fence… any shorter and he can jump it. Oh and he says he is a indoor dog…he likes the comfort of indoors!!! No apartments, high density housing or homes with lots of people coming and going.
