Hi, I’m Jett! I’m a 4–5-year-old 90lb Labrador-Border Collie mix, and I’ve been told I’m both lovable and clever. I absolutely love going on walks and exploring the outdoors. Fetch? Not my thing just yet, but I’m always ready for other games and adventures. I get along great with other dogs—I’m always up for some playtime. I don’t live with kids in my foster home, but I meet them on walks sometimes, and I really like when they pet me. I’m gentle and calm around them. I really love being with my people. Sometimes I feel a little anxious when I’m left alone, but I’m getting better at handling it. I’d be happiest in a home where I can cuddle a lot and have plenty of space to run and play. We reserve the right to deny anyone a dog if we feel the applicant is not qualified or is not a good fit for the dog at our discretion. We require two personal references that we call to check character and get a recommendation on why or why not the applicant is a good candidate. Also, we call the vet reference to be sure the applicants current dog is current on vaccinations and heartworm prevention.
