Kiwi originally came to the shelter as a puppy. She was adopted when she was two months old, and returned a year later when her family didn't have enough time for her. She's not a puppy anymore, but has entered the awkward adolescence phase: wide-eyes, long legs, energetic but shy, and still learning about the world around her. Kiwi is sweet and lovable, but she can be a bit timid and unsure about new things, so she would need a patient, loving home who will take the time to show her the ropes. She's lived with kids and was very loving towards them. She appears to be a hunting dog mix, so she can be vocal. Like a toddler, she needs to be kept busy, and she gets very attached to her people. She's learned some bad habits in her last home (like jumping on people gets her attention) so she would benefit from a basic manners class, but she's very intelligent and loves to learn.Kiwi's a very young dog with a wonderful disposition, who has her whole life in front of her. She would make a wonderful addition to almost any home.
