Hello – I’m Leland! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control, and I’m thankful that they were able to rescue me and help me find my new family. I’m ready to do that now! I’m currently in the prison/foster training program off site and learning a lot! Please inquire at 770-272-XXXX to find out when I'm available to meet. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them so, if you have a dog already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I met kids at Mostly Mutts that were around 10 years old, and I liked them! I was a little mouthy with them – just in a playful way though, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over or nibble on with my young dog enthusiasm. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I was quite regal and serious during my shelter bath, and I’ve been a blend of playful enthusiasm and calm and sweet-natured as well as funny and playful that I’m sure you will love. I’m a bit mouthy right now, but not in an aggressive way at all – I just want to have fun! I’m known around the shelter for being sweet, handsome and smart. What’s not to love? / My energy level is 4-6+. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I have learned the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, and ‘come’ commands so far and I look forward to learning lots more, so I’d love my family to teach me! I’ll need you to work with me on my playful mouthiness too. I can jump pretty high, so maybe we can work on some agility together? / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I've been having accidents on the shelter schedule, so I’ll need my family to finish potty training me. Please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, with positive reinforcement so I can master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love my human playmates and am always happy when the volunteers take me to the playpen for some great play sessions with toys and balls. I will hop right up on the bench at the shelter to get affection and show off my happy nature. I love to run, so a nice, fenced yard would be a great spot for us to have lots of fun together. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I am looking for a loving home with a great family for life! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
