When your face is remotely near him, he will find a way to give you all the kisses in the world. If you’re looking for a family dog, this is your guy! With his even-tempered personality, he naturally finds a place for himself wherever he goes. Sometimes he loves to be in the middle of the action and other times he is content to observe from the perimeter while chewing on a bone. Cypress loves to play fetch, bonus points if it’s with a squeaky ball. While Cypress does very well with children of all ages, he would do best in a home with older children as he is a good sized dog who is still working on his manners. Cypress is fully house and crate trained and knows sit. Because he loves people so much, Cypress will voice his displeasure when first put in his crate but then will settle down on his own after a few minutes. As of right now, adventuring into the wild blue yonder is not what Cypress was built for as he has a definite skittish side. His favorite place is at home with his humans and he is happiest there. He also prefers settings with ideally one other dog, as large groups of dogs tend to make him more nervous. All said and done, Cypress is an incredibly loving, friendly fella who is longing for a furever couch to call his own and will fill the hole in your heart that you didn’t know you had until you met him.
