Hello! I'm Lavender! I'm a young, petite little girl who was surrendered to the shelter because my owners were moving and they couldn't take me with them. This makes me really sad because that's the only home I've ever known! Since being at the shelter, I've been really scared of all the commotion and people I don't know. They've been very nice to me, and I'm slowly starting to trust them, but it takes me a little bit to warm up. In my past home, I lived with a dog and did well with them, but the dogs here make me a bit uneasy. That being said, I could probably share a home again with another dog but we would need to meet in person first to see if we are a good fit together. I also lived with younger and older kids and really loved them but they were my family that I had grown up with from the beginning. If my new home does have kids, they would need to be respectful of my space when I am uncomfortable. I just need someone who is willing to be patient with me while I learn to trust. I promise I will return the favor with lots of cuddles once I do! I'd love to break free from this place! Ask to meet me!
