Lavender is a precious Terrier Mix that is currently being fostered with one of our dog trainers that specializes in timid, shy dogs. She is coming from a dog hoarding situation and is guessed to be 4-5 years old. She is a very easy going pup, who loves treats. She's adorable and likes to cuddle up in her dog bed or in your lap once she gets used to you! She is potty trained at her foster mom's house. She is a great low maintenance doggy, who does not need walks. She'd be fine in a home with a small yard, or even an apartment with a balcony that has a small real or fake turf to potty.She is kennel trained and pee pad trained inside her kennel. Lavender will need someone to introduce her to the world slowly and give her time to adjust to her new life. There are lots of other dogs at her foster moms house and she gets along with them great, her foster doesn't have any cats but thinks she would be fine with them if introduced properly. She thinks she would do better in a peaceful quiet home with adults to snuggle on the couch with. Another confident dog could be helpful, but not necessary. She will need an adopter who will give her love and patience. Please consider this adorable girl as a part of your family. She deserves all the love in the kindness and will give you a lifetime of affection. The shy dogs become the most loyal dogs, who adore their humans. Her foster mom is located in Fort Collins Colorado and wants to find a patient adopter who is willing to help her continue with her training and help her gain confidence either with in person, or virtual training session(s). She will provide a discount on training.
