Lhasa Apso Dog for Adoption in Lee's Summit, Missouri, 64081 USNickname: Zala Dog Breed: Lhasa Apso (long coat). Approx. DOB: 11/11/13 Approx. Weight: 13 lbs Adoption Fee: $200 includes a 2 week trial to ensure everyone's happiness! Zala (Zay-la) is an almost 11 year old Lhasa Apso who was released to Furry Kids by a breeder. She is still finding her way and is a little hesitant but warms up quickly. She loves to follow her people and loves to be petted. She is in a foster home with three other dogs and gets along well with each of them. She is catching on to potty training and has had only a few accidents. She is still learning how to ask to go out but goes out with her foster sisters whenever they go out. She has had some teeth pulled but eats kibble with no problems. She likes string cheese and other treats but looks a little to the side when taking them due to a small corneal scar on her eye. She has a red birthmark on her underbelly and has the cutest white front paws. Zala is extremely sweet and curious. She does stairs without issue but does not currently walk on a leash. She sleeps in a crate at night and loves to snuggle in a dog bed during the day. She does fine overall with grooming but doesn't like to have her face trimmed. The Lhasa Apso breed needs to be groomed every 4-6 weeks. Children 10 and older please. A fenced yard is preferred. I have been spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative and microchipped.
