Louis was given away by his original family a year or so ago. The new owner dumped him. He wandered up to someone's house in our county here in Texas He was very thin. We took him in and to the vet. He had parasites, was a bit anemic. We put him in a foster who fattened him up. Then we got him neutered and he had to complete heartworm treatment. Now he is fit as a fiddle and looking for a forever home where there might be some cool weather! nice boy!Adoption processAfter receiving inquiry about specific dog, an application is sent and a phone call is initiated. Pending approval after checking references dog can be adopted.Shelter locationDogs are located in Texas or CT fosters. We arrange transport for dogs to the rescue who is taking them. This includes private vehicles, the Another Chance van, flights and more.
