GOLDEN BEAUTY FOR ADOPTION! Maddie is a 5 year old, mixed breed dog who weighs 52 pounds. She found herself in a rural shelter with more dogs than adopters so she came to us so we can help her find the home she deserves! Maddie is full of energy and loves to romp and play with the other dogs in her foster home. She loves people and seems charmed by the children at adoption events! Maddie is crate trained and very likely house trained. She even knows some basic commands such as sit, wait and come! What a good girl! We foresee Maddie being your new hiking companion, a dog park party girl, and your new best friend. She has so much potential and we are excited to help her start the search for her forEVER family! Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3, foster-based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
