Introducing Maribelle, the pint-sized ball of energy and joy you've been looking for! This 4-month-old Cocker Spaniel and Mini Aussie mix weighs just 14 pounds but has a heart bursting with love and curiosity. Mirabelle is an eager and playful puppy, always ready for an adventure. She's a fast learner, already mastering the "kennel up" command for meals and associating the leash with outdoor fun. While she’s working on “sit” and “come,” she’s sure to impress you with her enthusiasm and intelligence. One of Maribelle's most endearing quirks is her habit of chasing her stubby tail when feeling extra frisky—it's absolutely adorable! She’s also a big fan of soft, stuffed toys, perfect for her teething phase. Just keep an eye on your shoes! House training is a work in progress for Maribelle. She's doing great in her crate and keeps it clean overnight and during the day. With regular trips outside every 4-6 hours, she'll soon be a pro. Her crate training is going well, too—she may cry at first, but she settles down with a blanket cover and some positive reinforcement. Maribelle hasn’t met any children yet but is so sweet and likely to get along well with them, though supervision is advised due to her playful nature. She loves other dogs and is doing great on leash walks and car rides. Maribelle would thrive in a home with plenty of one-on-one attention and care. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption.
