This puppy is amazing! Gentle and fun to be around- hes soaking up information so quickly! Monkey start basic obedience school this week and I expect him to get the highest marks in the class Monkeys list of adventures include car rides, meeting new people and new dogs, new buildings, Home Depot, creek time and hiking (short trips for his tiny legs). Monkey is intelligent, pays close attention to new environments and initiates play easily with other pets in the house. He's the only puppy out of this litter to have white markings on his nose. He's roly-poly and his antics are delightfully entertaining. He is demonstrating highly desirable traits of the gentle giant - easy going, a lover who loves to nap. I expect this puppy to be 100lbs+Monkey is a giant breed dog and will grow so that his head arrives easily at your waist. Large breeds like him require less exercise than a herding breed, but need jobs - puzzles, continued training, and purpose are imperative for these dogs. Monkey will mature more slowly than smaller breeds, reaching full size around 3 years of age. I refer the dam of this litter as a fireplace dog. She loves slow walks, sitting next to me while I work and lying by my feet in the evening. The rewards for ownership of large breeds like Monkey are stunning loyalty, calm camaraderie, and excellent alerting. Excellent family dogs, good with kids and pets, raised in a home. Demonstrating desirable traits including affection, alerting, napping. These dogs will make wonderful service dogs! Monkey is ready for his new home. He is dewormed, vet examined, with current vaccinations. Local delivery available, long distance delivery with discussion. No flights. Potty training is going very well and we are working with basic puppy obedience commands (sit/ settle/ walk on a leash/ chewing is for toys) per the ACK Good Citizen route. Dam is 100% Komondor, imported from HungarySire is 50/50% Great Pyrenees/ Standard Poodle
