Meet Morel, a very sweet 9 month old spayed female dachshund mix, weighing about 19 lbs! She is good with other dogs, cats, and people. She is a bit of a resource guarder with bones and food (she was rescued from a hoarding situation, common behavior in dogs that had to "fight" for their food). This can be easily managed by feeding and giving high value treats separately from other dogs. However, because of this, she is looking for a home without young children. Her CT foster mom says: "Morel is cute, shy when you first meet her and then warms up and is quick to jump in your lap. She generally gets along great with the rest of our pack. She shows no agression to our cat and loves to cuddle!" Morel is medically up to date, partially housebroken, and crate trained.
