He is a medium energy dog who is happy to romp around the yard with his doggy friends and just as happy to nap on the couch with his family. Dingo is fostered in a multi dog home and plays well with dogs of all ages and sizes. He takes cues well from his doggy foster siblings and when they’re all done playing, he happily entertains himself with toys or a game of fetch (seriously he plays fetch by himself). Dingo has been fostered with cats and is curious initially and then ignores them. With his playful nature and gentle disposition Dingo has done wonderfully when introduced to children. He happily accepts their pets and hugs. He is mostly crate trained, and can be vocal for a few minutes before settling. He has been crated throughout the work day with a mid day walk break and has done well especially when his foster family gives him a frozen kong. He sleeps soundly in his crate at night for eight hours. Fully house trained, Dingo has learned to cue when he needs to go outside to go potty. He is a smart boy who is eager to please and very food motivated. Dingo has already learned “sit” and “down”. You’d never know he just started walking on a leash this past week, he’s nearly a pro. He would love a family who will shower him with a whole lot of love and continue his training and working on basic puppy manners. Is there a spot on your couch open for Dingo?
