Nugget was one of 7 dogs dumped on a rural ranch in 2023. The ranch caretaker asked for help from HOT-PAWS and agreed to foster Nugget and the others. This sweet girl has been around older kids, but is gentle and would likely do fine with younger kids as well. She has been on the ranch with multiple other dogs of both genders without issue. Nugget is learning to walk on a leash, but stays close to home on the ranch and comes when called. She also crates okay and stays well in a secure fence. She is a fairly quiet dog and enjoys treats and attention.
