Nyako Shiba Inu Adult Female

Nyako is a precious Shiba Inu that is currently being fostered with one of our dog trainers that specializes in timid, shy dogs. She is an owner surrender (due to no fault of her own), and is guessed to be around 6 years old. She is absolutely adorable and so sweet, and her foster mom says she is making great progress, but is still very nervous around new people. She is fully kennel trained, it is her safe place. She loves to be out in the dog run and big yard. She is potty trained at her foster mom's house. She has just started to learn to be scratched/cuddled and to walk nicely on leash, but will need someone to introduce her to the world slowly to give her time to adjust to her new life. There are lots of other dogs at her foster mom's house so we know she is dog friendly, her foster doesn't have any cats but thinks she would be fine with them if introduced properly. She thinks she would do better in a home with a confident dog or in a quiet home with adults or older quiet kids. She will need an adopter who will give her love and patience. Please consider this adorable girl as a part of your new family. She deserves all the kindness in the world and will give you a lifetime of love. The shy dogs become the most loyal dogs and LOVE their humans. She has so much love to give and is looking for her FurEver Home. Her foster mom is located in Fort Collins Colorado and wants to find a patient adopter who is willing to help her continue with her training and help her gain confidence either with in person, or virtual training session(s). She will provide a discount on training.
