Meet Oliver 6979The photographer enjoys all the bark park rendezvous with the incredible Humane Society participants who “strut their stuff” as they unknowingly but proudly show off their best features and talents. Oliver joined this group with a quintessence of fun-loving frolic as he “owned” the bark park adventure. Oliver took great pleasure in tracking down a pastel blue alien squeaky that would occasionally soar invitingly over his head followed by the parade with his new friend proudly given the prestigious Tour de France park tour. Oliver would also poke his head around the still very young tree trunk as he invited the human to join him in the park festival. It was a hot day and Oliver cooled off with a quick scuba into the doggy wading pool replete with on purpose splashes directed at the human. One-year-old Oliver is a gentle, sweet, and intelligent canine who will lovingly share his Lab heritage with a human who enjoys the camaraderie of fun, exercise, and forever friendship.Adoption processOur adoption fee is $70 which covers all the basic shots and worming medications appropriate for the age of the animal as well as the required spaying or neutering. If the animal is too young to be neutered, a voucher is presented to the adopter to cover the process at a participating vet. Rabies shots are not included. We have an application process in which we ask basic questions to insure that you and the chosen pet are a good match for each other. We do require a vet reference. If you have been arrested and convicted of animal abuse or neglect, you will not be considered for adoption. If you do not own your home, a letter from the landlord giving permission to have a pet is required. Local ordinances regarding maximum numbers of pets shall be observed. All other household pets must be spayed or neutered. All pets are adopted "as is." Should the pet not work out after you take it home, we ask that you return the animal to us for re-homing. We want each animal to find a loving forever home and reserve the right to refuse any application should the individual needs of the chosen animal not be in that dog's best interest.
