Oreo is the perfect example of a great family dog! This 76-pound lap dog will snuggle her way into your heart in no time. She is an incredibly sweet and gentle 4-year-old Great Pyrenees/Pitbull mix (along with a few other things) and has the best temperament you could ask for. She is very friendly and happy to chill next to you (or in your lap) all day, but she will also jump at the chance to go on an adventure or play with another dog at their pace (although another dog in the house isn't a requirement). She is also a big cuddle bug and great with kids of all ages. Her 5-year-old human foster brother absolutely ADORES her and loves snuggling with her on the couch. Oreo is house trained (no marking), can use a doggy door with no issues, knows some basic commands, and walks pretty well on a leash (but can get a bit too excited about something she can chase, so she needs someone ready to handle that until fully trained). She is crate trained but isn't a fan of being in the crate with the door closed. She hasn't met any cats yet.Oreo is as loyal as you could ask for, which makes it particularly sad that through no fault of her own, she was returned to BBCR because of a divorce. She is currently being fostered in Erie and is very ready to find her actual furever home.
