Meet Penny! Penny is a spunky and active little girl who weighs 31 lbs. We believe she is a Jack Russell Terrier and Blue Heeler mix and is around 1 year old. Penny came to us from another rescue. Penny is friendly and social. Given her breed mix, she has a lot of energy to spare, so she’d really enjoy an active family who can keep her mind and body engaged. Some instances may require a home inspection. We require a meet and greet with all household members and resident dogs present at the shelter. The adoption fees are $175 to $400 ($175 for large senior dogs, $200 for small senior dogs, $300 for adults, and $400 for puppies under 1 year). Click here for our Adult Canine Application. FOR KITTENS ...Potential adopters will need to complete a Kitten Application and provide proof of vaccinations and spay/neuter for other animals living in the home. Renter must also provide a copy of their rental agreement showing pet allowance. The adoption fee is $130 for a DSH kitten, $160 for a DLH, specialty and purebred kittens. All kittens are flea treated, wormed, leukemia tested, and are up to date on shots as appropriate for their age. Adopter is responsible for remaining vaccines.
