Petey English Bulldog Adult Male
Hello, I'm Petey---don't I just look like a "Petey? I just love people especially when they pet me. I am friendly, sweet and will seek out petting as well as give loving in return. I really enjoy going for several, short walks a day. You see, I have old leg injury that was never repaired and some bad knees. That doesn't stop me from getting around and having fun! I really like playing tug with my foster Mom, and I'm pretty good at it. I'm a low-energy kind of guy who loves exercise and playtime, but also naps!! Several a day is the name of my game! I love sitting on the couch with my foster Mom and putting my head in her lap. As long as I'm touching her, I'm a happy camper. I don't have any experience with other dogs, cats or children, but it's probably best if I don't live with them given my injury. Besides, then all of your attention will be on ME! I hope you will visit me soon-we could have a great life together!!! Love, Petey! From foster mom: Petey is full of hugs and kisses and a periodic adorable woof bark when he's excited typically about his walks. And also when he has his favorite toy! He is pretty much a couch potato, but when he does get out for a walk he loves to explore everything and of course sniff and nibble at lots of things along the way! Petey was rescued by law enforcement from a terrible hoarding situation and he has difficulties with both of his back legs because of likely a birth defect that was never treated. But he doesn't let that stop him. He gets along just pretty well and we've had some great walks together! I cannot speak more highly of this great guy, who loves to play tug-of-war with chew toys, he has enjoyed all of the people he has met who are friends or workmen, and he loves to sunbathe as well! He'd be a wonderful addition to his forever family, possibly best being the only dog, but loving his new owners unconditionally!"If you have any questions or would like to adopt Petey, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
