Hello there, I'm Piper! I was originally surrendered to the shelter as a puppy, and then I found a home, but as the family dynamic changed I developed some anxiety. I was living with small children and they were a bit too much for me. I may do well with another kid as long as they are fairly calm and respectful of my boundaries. I can also be friends with other dogs, and I do tend to be the dominant one, so a laid back and generally submissive pal would be best for me. I don't know how I feel about cats but I am willing to try with proper introduction. I am a very loving companion and just want to find my furever home, where someone can help me cope with my anxiety. I am well-behaved and know basic commands, so you won't have to worry about training.
