Pippin is a cute female 10-year old+ Chihuahua mix who was found on Blennerhassett Avenue in Belpre Ohio on June 11, 2024 taking a stroll by herself. Several compassionate individuals tried in vain to apprehend this little lady and eventually she was able to be picked up. Pippin was not wearing a collar but was scanned for a microchip (none detected). A kind gentleman brought her to HSOV later that afternoon. Pippin has a tan/brown short smooth coat, a long tail, and an adorable frosty face with dark brown eyes, a slender muzzle, and large erect ears. Pippin has a sweet, gentle disposition and a friendly, easygoing personality. Pippin is currently being housed in our front office where she is enjoying snoozing in a soft comfy bed and being showered with attention from our adoptions clerk, kennel techs and shelter staff. Pippin loves her 'good girl' treats and being pampered to her heart's content. Pippin weighs 9.6 lbs. In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Pippin will be held for three days so that her family will have an opportunity to reclaim her with proof of ownership.If you have any questions or would like to adopt Pippin, please reach out to the adoption group directly.
