Animal Profile: Pippin stole our hearts from the start. He was reported to our rescue partners in Del Rio, TX when he was spotted with a face full of porcupine quills. He was friendly, but wasn't quite trusting enough to be caught. Lucky for Pip, Animal Control was able to scoop him up and get him to our friends at Animal Advocacy and Rescue Coalition. Pippin was treated for his injuries, and went from a shy and shutdown dog to a bouncy, happy boy in no time flat. Pippin loves other dogs, is gentle with baby puppies, and has had exposure to cats. He is estimated to be about a 1 year old and weighs 32lbs. He is so ready to find his home here in the PNW, and we can't wait to be a part of his happily ever after. Pippin does need a canine companion in his forever home as he looks towards that companionship for guidance and reassurance.
