Meet Polly! Polly is a very sweet 6 year old female schnauzer. She came to us from a commercial breeding facility in the south. She's quite timid, but is so sweet and just wants to be loved. Her fur was very matted when she got here, so we had to get her groomed/shaved so she could just start fresh. Polly will require a regular grooming appointment when she gets adopted to keep that from happening again. Polly seems to get along with dogs here at the shelter, and is not really interested in cats. We do require a dog meet and greet if you already have a dog. Polly will need time to adjust to living in a home, as she came from a breeding facility. She will need to be potty trained. She is learning how to walk on a leash, and she's also learning how awesome toys are! Polly is spayed, microchipped, up to date on all of her vaccinations, and tested negative for heartworms.
