She had some teeth pulled but her bottom canines still look a bit wonky. They are very worn in spots, it's not affecting her quality of life. An adopter may choose to pursue further consultation on these and possible extraction, if they would like. She also had mammary masses removed and sent into the lab. They found the masses to be BENIGN MAMMARY ADENOMAS. This means she should be monitored and evaluated for recurrence OF PREVIOUS OR NEW masses. ADDITIONAL MASSES SHOULD BE EVALUATED AND POTENTIALLY REMOVED. She is on apoquel for her previous bad hairloss and itching. Her hair has grown back really well, other than permanent hairloss spots on her rear thighs and her itching is gone. We are continuing her apoquel for a little bit longer before seeing how she does off of it. We are suspecting a flea bite hypersensitivity which can linger for a few months so hopefully she'll be fine off of it but we can't guarantee it. She could also need this medication seasonally or for life depending on how she does.
