Poe (A136313) is a 10-month-old Standard Poodle mix who weighed 33.1 pounds on intake! 10/18/24 This goofy boy is Poe! Poe arrived at the shelter as a stray, so we have no history of how he was in a home setting. He was initially resistant to walking on a leash but has been slowly figuring it out. Poe has also been having accidents in his kennel so he will need help figuring out potty training. He is a young boy, so with a little love and consistency, we are sure he can figure it out. We encourage his next owner to work with a certified trainer to see what works best for him and to continue building his confidence. His hair coat was dirty and matted upon arrival at the shelter and required a quick clip, and his next owner will need to keep up with his grooming needs to avoid future matting. Poe has seems interested in his canine neighbors but we do not know if he has ever lived with other dogs. Please ensure you are making slow, safe, and controlled introductions with all new potential friends.
